Buzi IT was founded by Matthew Presland in August 2011. Before starting Buzi IT, Matthew worked in many roles that saw him rapidly develop a wide range of skills and experience in both the web development and business arenas. Matt started as the online retails store manager for Australia's largest motorcycle dealership network and gained experience in both managing and developing an online e-commerce system for a high demand client.

Matt then moved on to assist a national first aid training provider take the first steps to develop their web presence. The process started with the development of the company website, and the role quickly expanded into developing and maintaining a custom online booking system that managed all course bookings for the company and also allowed customers to book and pay for their courses online. Through this process, Matt worked directly with the Directors and General Manager of the company to develop a complete business management system for the company including sales reporting, financial management, staff work tracking, scheduling and rostering.

In these years, Matt gained a wealth of business management experience and developed the ability to visualise simple IT solutions for complex business issues and bottlenecks. Working with all levels of company personnel from the junior workers to the senior executives, Matt was dedicated to ensuring the tools suited each and every person who would touch the system.

Matt saw the opportunity to assist small businesses in managing their growth, by streamlining their business processes and providing an IT support network for business expansion. This soon led to the registration of Buzi IT Pty Ltd. As the case studies on our site will show, Matt has a passion for thinking outside of the box and developing truly custom web-based applications to solve everyday business dilemmas.
